TIMBER ROOF STRUCTURE

timber roof structure is commonly used in the older day of construction technology such as timber rafter system or gang-nail trusses system. The roof timber used is treated with anti-termite  solution locally and certificate will be issued upon request. The commonly used roof timber is 'Kapur', 'Balau' or 'Kempas'. 'Chengai' or 'Balau" timber is always used where the roof has to be exposed partially to the weather. Galvanized nails are used to join the timber at the roof ridges, valleys, battens and bolts and nuts are used to join the timber together if the length of the single timber is insufficient. We are able to provide consultation for new roof construction, extension of roof or alteration of roof due to A & A activities.
